This policy covers the Intercut application for macOS ("the app") and this website.

The short version

Intercut collects no data. Your footage, projects, and edits stay on your Mac.

No data collection. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reports.
No accounts. The app has no sign-up, login, or user account of any kind.
Local processing. All video and audio processing happens entirely on your device. Your media files are never uploaded anywhere.
No network access in normal use. The app functions fully offline.
Purchases. The app is sold through the Mac App Store. Your purchase is processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we receive no personal information about you from your purchase.

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
It is served from standard web hosting infrastructure, which may keep routine server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to respond.

The app and site are not directed at children under 13 and, as described above, collect no personal information from anyone.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
